Businesses these days are including Internet access service more than ever. A lot of this is because the use of email has become one of their main ways of communication with their customers and clients.

In case you do not know exactly what a T1 line is, it is not generally used for home and usually the small businesses won't bother with it at all, so that is probably why some are not familiar with what a T1 line connection is.

More businesses these days are including Internet access than ever before. A lot of this is because the use of email has become one of their main ways of communication with their customers and clients.

Another reason is that a lot of small, medium and large businesses have websites and are even promoting themselves on social networking sites in order to gain more exposure for their company. If the Internet and email is used a lot in a business, the company might want to consider having a T1 line connection installed.

A T1 line is a line that is made up of mostly copper wire or more recently made up of fiber optics that are used in rapid speed, digital telephone lines. A vast amount of information can be transmitted through these lines at an incredible speed.

This Internet connection runs off of twenty-four channels and can run telephones and Internet off of one line and is faster than your typical Internet connection.

This kind of Internet connection is extremely powerful with it's twenty-four channels that provides an entire company with the Internet and it can also connect telephones if the company decided they wanted to do so.

Some business may not want to combine Internet and telephone systems and just have the T1 line connection handle all of its needs for the Internet and nothing else. One benefit from having this type of connection is that it is rarely ever down so a business can pretty much work through without interruptions.

If the Internet ever does go down, the issue will be taken care of immediately and not some time down the road. For any company that handles a lot of business emails, conferences, websites, training sessions, etc. They will love the incredible speed at which this service will provide.

The cost of a T1 line connection is somewhat costly and this is why it not recommended for home use or even for small business use that has a tight budget. As for the larger businesses, it could be the other way around. By using this type of Internet connection might actually save them money over the long run. This is due in part to the fact the entire system works more efficiently which in turn will make business production on a daily basis run much smoother.

If you use DSL at home or at a small business, you should continue to do so. At this point in time, it is just not worth it for the home user and/or small business to set up this type of connection unless you are trying to expand.
