You can put a broom stick in the middle of the filter to hold it in place. This will make the cleaning job easier.
4. Now take hot water in a 3 gallon bucket. Soak your filter in the hot water. You can add chlorine bleach to the hot water to kill any germs. This will also whiten the filter.
5. After soaking the hot tub filter in hot water you should clean it thoroughly using a hose. Make sure you wash out all traces of chlorine bleach. This is important especially if you use spa treatment like Baquacil.
6. Once you clean the filter thoroughly with water, let it dry outside. Give it enough time to dry completely.
Now you can place the filter in its place.
