The Canon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS is more than just any other ordinary digital camera. This quality made device is capable of taking quality photographs, in low light and even without the flash. While we still recommend using the flash where it's appropriate, sometimes it's nice to have nicely lit pictures, even if they originated in low light situations. Also, because this digital camera is priced so competitively, you don't have to worry about spending and arm and a leg (at your local department store) just to own it!
The 12.1 megapixel sensor in the Canon ELPH 300 HS is simply fantastic. Because of its quality design and engineering, this Canon can produce shots that can be printed or blown up well beyond what you would typically need. If you want a simple point and shoot digital camera that you can take with you everywhere, the PowerShot ELPH 300 is for you. Also, don't just take our word for it; on Amazon.com, this is the number one selling digital camera out of thousands. That's impressive.

e they're quality as opposed to cheap plastic. On the front of the device, you'll find a simple design with the lens, logo and flash. Up top, you'll have the buttons necessary to compose and capture your image and finally, on the back, you have a beautiful 2.7 inch TFT display where you can browse through the intuitive menu and even record video.
Besides picture quality, the other main item on the 300 HS that we enjoyed were the well thought out menu features. Here you can set the self-timer, view your pictures, adjust important camera settings and even make minor edits to your picture, right on the screen! It would be wise to invest in some screen protectors to protect that digital investment.
When we first got our hands on the Canon PowerShot digital camera, we were very excited because this compact was eagerly anticipated. In the end once we did the review, we gave it the highest rating on our scale: a 5.
